KEMH considers alternative solutions after delayed arrival of Orthopaedic Consultant

Concerns were raised about the delayed arrival of an orthopaedic consultant in last week’s public meeting. The consultant, who was meant to arrive in April to triage patients, was unable to make the trip to the islands for personal reasons.

We spoke to the Director for Health and Social Services, Tom Bale, to see what other options are now being considered by the hospital.
