Falklands residents will no longer have to fly to the UK to receive laser eye treatment as of this summer.

The opticians at the King Edward Memorial Hospital have obtained a tango neo laser which visiting specialists can use to perform complex eye treatments on-site and in minutes.

This is a gamechanger for those who might otherwise struggle to travel for life-improving operations.
