You may have noticed two unusual yachts berthed at the public jetty over past week. Polar expedition vessels, the Vinson of Antarctica and the Amundsen are high latitude charter boats, and have recently returned from a trip to South Georgia. The yachts are designed specifically to withstand ice and rough conditions, and to function in extreme, remote seas. We took a behind the scenes look around the Amundsen to find out what makes this boat special.
