A consultation has opened on the creation of ten new nature reserves and the expansion of five existing sites.

The aim is to protect important nature sites belonging to both Falkland Islands Government and private landowners like Falklands Conservation.

The public can give feedback until the 5th of May, through online or paper surveys.
