Cartmell Cottage is one of the Falkland Islands’ oldest properties.

Dating from 1849, it has been owned by several people across the decades, and is now in the hands of the Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust.

Last month, the public were invited to visit the property and learn more about its place in the Islands’ history.
