The South Atlantic Environmental Research Institute have been working with Mount Pleasant Complex on a project to improve water security and better treat grey water.

Scientists hope to discover whether native grasses can be used to more effectively clean waste water before it reaches the sea.

They’re also surveying for new water sources as the size of MPC increases.
