The KEMH will start to vaccinate children against chicken pox. The vaccine rollout will be given to children at thirteen months old, following discussions with public health advisors. Chickenpox is commonly seen amongst children and the vaccine is given to prevent rare but life threatening complications that can sometimes occur.
