Government house opened its doors last week to recognise the Falklands youth football stars. Both the boys and the girls under 16’s teams recently took part in a series of matches in Punta Arenas, where they came away with their heads held high and even a trophy or two. The trip also marked the first international tour for the Girl’s football team.
