Welsh Guards' Next of Kin Pay their Respects at Falkland Islands Service

Members of the public gathered at the Welsh Guards memorial in Fitzroy on Sunday for the annual St. David’s Day remembrance service.

The service commemorates the Welsh Guards and attached arms who died when RFAs Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram were attacked in the area during the Falklands War.

This year’s ceremony was especially poignant, with next of kin of those killed travelling to pay their own respects.
