Gold exploration in the Falklands is entering a new phase, with drilling set to begin in the Goose Green area.

The work follows earlier surveys that identified potential gold deposits beneath the surface. A specialist drilling rig will be used to extract core samples, helping experts determine whether there is enough gold to justify further investment.
