Gilbert House will be used to house an as-yet unnamed Government department, the Government has confirmed.

Several options were presented to Executive Council for the future of the building, which is currently out of use following the Legislative Assembly’s move to Sulivan House earlier this year.

The preferred path forward was to relocate an FIG department currently renting private office space.
