The new road linking Sapper Hill to Ross Road officially opened on Tuesday 4th May.
The road from Diamond Jubilee Road leads down the hill to a junction with Ross Road West.
The new road has been named ‘Prince Philip Street’ in honour of the Duke of Edinburgh who died last month.
