A service and act of remembrance took place at the Atlantic Conveyor memorial at 12:15 last Saturday.
The SS Atlantic Conveyor was hit by two Exocet missiles on 25th May 1982, with the loss of 12 men on board, including the ship’s master, Captain Ian North.
