If you were in Central Stanley a couple weeks ago, you may have seen a small demonstration taking place. Climate activists from the community have been taking a stand against the UN COP27 meeting amid criticisms of its ineffectiveness and corporate greenwashing.

But while the demonstrators seek to hold global leaders to account, they also aim to encourage climate action locally.
