Executive Council has approved financial support for FIGAS as the air service continues to deal with a shortage of engineers.

Although the Executive Council paper remains closed, MLA Jack Ford told the Legislative Assembly that funding will be made available where evidence shows its required, allowing FIGAS to offer more competitive salaries when recruiting engineers.
