A public consultation on whether open pen salmon farming should be introduced in the Falklands has opened.

An online survey will gather views on economic and environmental impacts, as well as possible policy options, with the findings due to be presented to executive council.

Over the past fortnight, Falkland Islands Government has held public meetings and drop in sessions to allow people to ask questions ahead of the consultation.
