The first Monday of June is UK Overseas Territories Day.

Instigated three years ago by the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, it celebrates the 14 territories shared values and pride in being part of the British family.

Here in Stanley, the Falklands and UK flags flew alongside each other on Victory Green, whilst the Islands were also represented at events in London.
