Ian Barnes and Oliver Thompson opened their Men’s Pairs campaign at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games with a sectional match against England’s Nick Brett and Jamie Walker.
The English pair made a strong start and took the opening set 9–2 before securing the second 12–1 to complete a 2–0 victory.
Barnes and Thompson will continue their Section B campaign as they face further international opposition during the tournament.
