Ian Barnes and Oliver Thompson secured a 2–0 victory for the Falkland Islands over the Cook Islands in the Men’s Pairs at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The Falklands pair faced Epii Poiia and Jason Lindsay in their Section B match and recovered from an early deficit to take the opening set 6–3.
Barnes and Thompson then produced a dominant performance in the second set, winning 9–1 to complete the straight-sets victory.
