Daphne Arthur-Almond claimed a 2–0 victory for the Falkland Islands against the Cook Islands’ Emily Jim in the Women’s Singles at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Arthur-Almond recovered from an early deficit in the opening set, scoring nine shots to take it 9–5.
The second set remained close throughout, but the Falklands bowler held on to win 5–4 and complete the straight-sets victory in Section A.
