Ian Barnes and Oliver Thompson claimed a narrow victory for the Falkland Islands over Botswana in the Men’s Pairs at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The Falklands pair faced Kaizer Geche and Charles Diteto in their Section B match and edged a closely contested opening set 3–2.
The second set remained tight throughout and finished level at 4–4, giving Barnes and Thompson a 1.5–0.5 victory overall.
