Daphne Arthur-Almond completed her Women’s Singles sectional campaign for the Falkland Islands with a closely fought match against England’s Katherine Rednall at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
There was little between the two bowlers throughout the contest. Rednall narrowly took the opening set 5–4 before securing another tight second set 6–4 to complete a 2–0 victory.
The match brought Arthur-Almond’s Section A campaign to a close following victories over the Cook Islands, Canada and Jersey during the tournament.
