Members of the community and veterans gathered last Sunday, for the Remembrance Day commemorations marking the 106th anniversary for the end of the First World War.
In London, Falkland Islands representative, Richard Hyslop, laid a wreath at the Cenotaph on behalf of the Falkland Islands to commemorate those who lost their lives during WW1.
And in the Falklands, the annual service was held at the Christ Church Cathedral, followed by the traditional parade and act of remembrance at the Cross of Sacrifice.
