A group of Falkland’s residents are set to walk from one end of East Falkland to the other for a good cause. From the HMS Ardent memorial near Ajax Bay to Stanley’s Liberation Monument the team are aiming to complete the route in just three days. Nelson’s Walk, aims to raise funds to bring the daughter and family of Gary Nelson, who died in 1982 when the Ardent was sunk by enemy aircraft, back to the Islands to see where he made the ultimate sacrifice.
