After over a year of closures and repair works, the swimming pool at Stanley Leisure Centre reopened to the public last Sunday.

Multiple issues, including fibreglass leakages had deemed the facility previously unsafe, before repair work began in 2019.

With the work now complete, Stanley Swimming Club members were invited to help officially reopen the pool, and we even convinced Jonny to dust off his goggles for the occasion.
