The Black Eagle monument on Canopus Hill was rededicated on Wednesday. The new monument arrived in September of last year and is a full size reproduction of the original 1983 Black Eagle.
The monument which remembers those of 63 squadron RAF Regiment is now made of low corrosion steel and is expected to be on watch for sixteen hundred years.
