A project looking into greenhouse gas emissions from peatlands has started here in the Falklands. The 3-year project will look at greenhouse gas data and work will inform the feasibility of a carbon offsetting scheme. The joint project is being led by Falklands Conservation in partnership with other organisations, and the team have selected several sites around the islands to start working on.
