If you were out on Sunday you may have spotted the Southern Right Whale which found its way into Stanley Harbour, or the crowds gathered and hoping to catch a glimpse of it.

Southern Rights are not uncommon in the Falklands, but it is unusual to see one in Stanley at this time of the year.

The Falklands Conservation Whale Project has been tracking this species of whale for two years, and told us a little more about it.
