Two roads on the new Sapper Hill housing estate will be named after local firefighters who died in the line of duty.

In 1989, Gerard Johnson and Robert Finlayson perished whilst searching for survivors on a burning trawler.

A request submitted by Gerard’s sister Bernadette Pring will now see their memory further enshrined in Falklands history.
