On Sunday, nurse Jordan Mettner and auxiliary medic Jeremy Henry from the King Edward Memorial Hospital landed in Tristan da Cunha to help the community respond to the risk of hantavirus.

The remote island has a suspected case of the disease in a British national who disembarked the cruise ship MV Hondius in April.

Falkland Islands Government sent assistance, following a request from the UK Health Security Agency.
