Indian Navy Sailing Vessel Tarini completes third leg of global circumnavigation

The Indian Naval Sailing Vessel Tarini arrived in Stanley on Monday evening, marking the completion of the third leg of its round the world circumnavigation voyage.

Led by two women Indian Navy officers, the third leg of the expedition saw the pair navigate the longest leg of the journey – a whopping 10,400km – from New Zealand to Stanley.

The voyage is part of Navika Sagar Parikrama 2, an Indian Navy voyage attempting a double-handed circumnavigation of the globe via the three Great Capes.
