The KEMH food and water laboratory has received accreditation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.

The laboratory has been accredited to international standards including competence, impartiality, accuracy and reliability of their testing.

Achieving this accreditation is expected to be beneficial for the Islands meat and fish export industry, and add international credibility to the lab.
