The first childcare business in the Falklands to receive financial support from the government’s capital development grant has officially opened.

‘Bright Beginnings’ nursery was awarded £200,000 by the government to help support the construction of a new building.

The opening of the new premises on Sapper Hill comes at a time when demands on existing childcare facilities are being stretched to meet the growth in numbers of young people locally.
