Major Daniel Biggs has been sworn in as the new Officer Commanding the Falkland Islands Defence Force. A short ceremony was held at the FIDF Hall where Her Excellency the Governor heard Major Biggs take his oath.

Major Biggs takes over from Major Justin McPhee who retired in June this year.
