The Falklands will soon be home to a new Environment Trust, which has been given the seal of approval by the Government. The Trust will be funded by a combination of donations and by emissions fees paid by oil and gas companies. The aim is for it to be fully established during 2026 and it will welcome applications from anyone with a project idea that could help to make the Islands a greener place.
