Falkland Islands Government Environment Department and the Falkland Islands Tourist Board are working on creating and implementing a set of tourism guidelines for operators and tourists visiting Gypsy Cove and Yorke Bay. The guidelines set out 8 key points aiming to protect the local penguin colonies during cruise ship days and provide the best experience for visitors to the Islands.
