The Workforce Development Strategy has been approved by ExCo this week. The Strategy will be looking at improving the process of recruiting and retaining workers, and will focus on key areas, such as Education, Skills and Retention. The Skills Assessment council will meet to discuss implementing the policy, while the annual report on the progress of the strategy is expected at the beginning of 2025.
