Unity Marine have invited various members from the Falkland Islands Government, the community, and the press to take part in a visit to Norway. The trip has drawn controversy with concerns around bias being raised at this week’s public meeting. Members of the assembly highlighted how any officials taking part in the visit would be there to gather evidence and report it back. MLA Mark Pollard stated “we have to listen to all sides before making a decision, we have to keep an open mind with all the evidence presented.” Members of the Legislative Assembly were invited to go on the trip but have declined.
