Planning permission for three additional wind energy converters and battery storage for sand bay wind farm were unanimously approved at the Planning and Building Committee. Members also approved planning permission to demolish the Old Filtration Plant at Moody Brook. Concerns were raised at the meeting on how the parts of the building containing Asbestos would be safely removed in the interest of public health.
