Four Falklands motorcyclists spent two days riding around the islands last weekend, raising money for the Falklands Veteran’s Foundation at Liberty Lodge and paying respects at memorials to the Falklands fallen. Their ride involved visiting all the commercial sheep farms on east Falklands within 24 hours, and then a Ride of Respect from the grave of Lt. Nick Taylor at Goose Green to the Liberation memorial in Stanley where they were joined by dozens of other motorcyclists.
This is the third year in a row the Ride of Respect has taken place on the islands, and this year the group raised £16,145.
