Bela's back with an easy chocolate rice crispy recipe

Here is a simple but effective solution to satisfy your sweet tooth! Bela gets baking, showing you how to make chocolate rice crispy cakes.

Chocolate Rice Crispy Cakes

You will need:

  • 90g Rice Crispies
  • 3 Tablespoons Golden Syrup
  • 100g Milk Chocolate
  • 60g Unsalted Butter
  • 12 Cupcake Cases

Makes 12


Put the milk chocolate into a microwaveable bowl and place in the microwave for one minute. Once melted add the butter into the melted chocolate and mix bit by bit until all the butter has melted in the chocolate. The mixture should have a smooth consistency.

Add the golden syrup into the chocolate mix and combine until the mixture is glossy.

Next, add the rice crispies into the bowl and stir until the rice crispies are completely covered in chocolate*.

Get 12 cupcake cases and fill evenly with the rice crispy mixture. Place in the fridge for an hour to allow for the rice crispy cakes to set.

*If you want to add any additional ingredients like marshmallows, nuts or raisins now is the time to do so!
