The Falkland Islands Bowls Team has begun their campaign at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Cecil Alexander faced Malaysia’s former world number one on Thursday, before the Games’ opening ceremony at the OVO Hydro where Oly Thompson carried the Falklands Flag and Daphne Arthur Almond carried the baton.
