Sharon Barnes and Kris Thorsen continued the Falkland Islands’ Commonwealth Games bowls campaign with a Women’s Pairs match against Norfolk Island.
The Falklands pair faced Ellie Dixon and Christine Jones at the SEC in Glasgow during the sectional stage of the competition.
Norfolk Island secured the match in straight sets, winning the opening set 7–3 before taking the second 6–4.
Barnes and Thorsen remained competitive throughout the second set, but Norfolk Island held on to complete the victory.
