Gold mining is set to start in the Islands next year. Warrah Resources has secured an exclusive gold and minerals exploration licence from FIG, and a geological expert will arrive in January to explore the area for 6 months. The team is expecting to move to the drilling stage in the third quarter of 2024, if the initial land exploration is successful.
