It’s no secret that the Cape Pembroke Lighthouse is in desperate need of restoration, and repair works could start as early as next year. The project was approved at the Planning and Building Committee last week, and several private companies are supporting FIG with the repair of the historic monument. But the restoration process will be on hold until building of a temporary road from the car park to the lighthouse is approved at the Planning and Building Committee.
