Journey down the memory lane with two 1982 veterans

The Sea Harrier is an iconic image of the 1982 conflict, and just before Liberation day weekend a Harrier and a Lynx helicopter arrived in Stanley. The aircraft which are currently residing at FIGAS will be moved into the Lookout Gallery upon completion. We had the chance to sit down and talk to Lieutenant Commander Tim Gedge, the former commanding officer of 809 Naval Air Squadron, and pilot of a Sea Harrier as well as Commodore Michael Clapp who commanded the UK’s amphibious assault group.
