Press freedoms were a topic of discussion in last week’s legislative assembly with MLA Mark Pollard asking a question without notice to the Attorney General.
MLA Pollard asked the AG what laws there were in the islands to protect freedom of the press, the role of the media trust, and whether the media trust has the power to enter into any agreements of non-disclosure or control of content.
