A PHD student from the University of Hull is back in the Falklands conducting research with SAERI and the British Antarctic Survey.

Lydia Brackwell was here for ten weeks last year studying population connectivity in the Southern Ocean via Kelp rafts.

Building on this work she has begun a new experiment around biodiversity and ecosystem function of the Falkland Islands.
